A spam banning frenzy is in full effect – DE-EVO-lution rules the day. Now, it’s more valuable than ever to run away form serving up junk and instead concentrating on building quality real content websites!
Oh no! The human reviewer has got your web page inside their hot little hands and is going to read your words and search over your web site! Sounds like I am just speaking about the DMOZ Open Directory or even the Yahoo Directory, having said that i am talking about Google and Yahoo!
It’s no secret, Google, Yahoo and even MSN are banning web sites in record numbers and it’s not just through the help of filters and algorhythms. Inside their quest to offer only the best high quality search engine results with their visitors, the search engines are adopting directory-like human reviewing techniques!
Search engine listings will have employees whose primary job would be to surf the net looking for spam and so they can push some control and ban every internet site they are available across that they feel should NOT be on the first page.
Mainly on the top of their lists for human review are internet sites that get complaints (usually AdSense type sites) alerted by web forms on the search engine listings that permit do-gooder surfers to easily report internet sites and point to them as spammers. Many people even volunteer to rat on spam sites. And in case that’s insufficient, there exists a good possibility your competition will put your sites from the ringer and in case they uncover any spamliness they will rat you.
Actually, it’s most likely that it must be competition which is fingering the sites to have banned as they may be angry at losing the top position to a competing marketer. The only real solution is always to play by the rules! Wait – you will find no published rules… just a mantra saying do no evil…
But how about the people who make internet sites with good intentions? They’re not evil. They just don’t keep up to date on all the top speak about this sort if thing and they make mistakes like repeating keywords excessively.
And SEO aka Seo – I get the sense that THEY (Google) think this really is EVIL. SEO optimizes pages for better rankings. We should not do that – should we
Well – it’s not immoral or unethical so I’ll increase up against the big G and say YES we must do those things… but we need to bear in mind that some human reviewer may not go along with us and push the button and banish us! Ouch! That hurts!
It’s just unsafe to employ borderline techniques nowadays. Overly hyped up pages with a lot of ads or JUST AdSense may look like strictly commercial. That in itself is not really bad, but they want encyclopedias to rank on top too. Not just commercial pages.
This is because really pretty obvious if you try to find out things through the search engine’s perspective.
What’s happening is that there are so many huge amounts of website pages out there that the search engines are experiencing a harder and harder duration of indexing and cataloging each of the website pages their crawlers are spidering. Combine the huge expansion of the web using the proliferation of webmaster software that can build a large number of junk pages in the push of the mouse, and you’ve got a bulging inventory of webpages.
Those machine generated junk pages are clogging the hard drives and servers of the search engines.
The truth is that the people who are the customers of the major search engines, have been complaining quite vocally this too many webpages that appear on the first page from the search results are nothing more than webpages with links to other web pages. Junk directories with scraped search engine results. Made for AdSense (MFA) sites that are looking nothing more than an advert click.
You know what I’m speaking about. Put simply, the automated inside your face commercial junk is rendering it unpleasant and quite often challenging for the search engine customers to discover real content webpages.
So… to have their customers from looking elsewhere, all of the search engines are now aggressively blacklisting garbage websites and removing them using their indexes.
Webmasters beware, the search engines are cleaning house and also the free ride has ended. That means that the zillions of machine generated junk pages, that are presently an epidemic, can no longer make webmasters money like they utilized to, if kdrevv money in any way.
There exists a better way though, plus it actually includes a long term profit stream attached…. real content internet sites! Yes, why not build internet sites with real content that will last the test of energy? Why build junk sites that will bite the dust once you can spend some time on things which last? That’s the ticket! Build sites that last!
